BEST PARABEN-FREE SOAPS

The Heavenly Life Range of Paraben-Free Soaps

We are deeply committed to produce all-natural products that are completely free of parabens. To do this, we created our paraben-free soaps by not only looking at our modern understanding of health, but also to ancient beauty secrets collected all across human history – from times when health and beauty products contained no artificial ingredients.

By taking inspiration from the best beauty secrets from the pre-industrial age, we achieved two things: we revived beauty secrets that have been lost in time, and we create paraben- free soaps from ingredients that were used when humans lived in harmony with nature. In this way, we create products that do not harm nature when we take them out of nature, and also do not harm nature when they are returned to nature.

Paraben Free Soap

Our Paraben-Free Soaps are Multifunctional – Can Be Used as Face Masks

Because of the gentle nature of our ingredients, we were able to create a range of paraben-free soaps that are not only good for the long-term health of your skin, but also provide you with a spa-like experience when you use them. And it is not only about knowing which products are good for you, but also ensuring that we source only the highest quality ingredients when we make our products. We are committed to sourcing only the best, freshest, and purest ingredients.

It is often falsely thought that paraben-free soaps have a shorter shelf life, but this is not the case for the Heavenly Life range. Because of the care we take with the formulation of our products and the quality and freshness of the ingredients that go into our products, the users of our products can expect stable, long-lasting use from our range.

Paraben-Free Soap

This approach, and our unique ability to combine unique ingredients to create our high-quality products, has allowed us to create a range with something suitable for every skin and hair type.

This is particularly true for our range of organic paraben-free soaps, where specific skin types are catered for, while offering a luxurious and refreshing experience. In addition, our soaps perform the additional function of doubling as masks.

It is really this attribute that sets our paraben-free soaps apart. They can be used as a normal soap, getting rid of any harmful buildup on your skin through daily washing. But then they can also be applied as a facial mask and left on for only five minutes, after which they can gently be washed off for an even deeper cleanse.

After years of researching beauty secrets from across the world, both ancient and modern, Heavenly Life has identified the most important ingredients that work together to achieve the important goals of eliminating dangerous compounds from your skin, while simultaneously combatting the signs and symptoms of aging.

These ingredients were then combined into four unique paraben-free soaps to suit every skin type and every skin condition.

1. Paraben-Free Soaps: Glow of Musk for Dark Oily Skin

During the warmer months, or in heated spaces, people with dark, oily skins often feel sweaty, because of the clogging effect oil has on your skin pores. Glow of Musk for Dark Oily Skin transforms this feeling from one of discomfort to one of feeling refreshed.

The presence of musk means that your skin is hydrated, while dead cells and bacteria are eradicated. The light, fragrant scent of the musk will ensure that any sweaty odors are a thing of the past.

Further boosting the cleansing effect is sodium cocoate, which acts as a natural balancing agent between the oils and water on your skin, making it the perfect ingredient to get rid of the day’s dirt, oil, and make-up. And it is a perfect alternative to synthetic chemicals.

Sodium cocoate comes from coconut oil and is known to be an effective cleanser and emulsifier. This means that there is a stable balance between oils and water, making it easier to wash off all the dirt, pollution, oil, and makeup that build up on your skin during the day. The use of sodium cocoate means that it is no longer necessary to include the synthetic product, sodium lauryl sulfate, which other manufacturers use to achieve the same effect.

People who battle oily skin will know that clogged pores often lead to the production of blackheads. They are usually hard to treat and remove, but by harnessing the antioxidants in this paraben-free soap, blackheads can be removed easily by simply applying the soap.

Another huge benefit is the unification of skin tone. And nothing radiates skin health like a glowing, unified color. In addition, the hydrating qualities of the paraben-free soap lifts the skin and addresses the appearance of the loose and baggy skin that is almost impossible to avoid as we grow older. This is achieved through the soap’s collagen skin-tightening properties.

As we all know, the best way to retain a youthful appearance as you age is to start early. This paraben-free soap is your weapon against the onset of signs of aging.

One of the leading causes of face discoloration and dark patches on the skin is melasma, which is particularly common among pregnant women. Most treatments for melasma are painful and ineffective. In contrast, Glow of Musk for Dark Oily Skin relieves melasma and even prevents future symptoms of melasma for those who have not yet experienced this condition.

Glow of Musk for Dark Oily Skin is unique for incorporating a wide array of active organic ingredients to ensure the health of your skin. These include:

  • Sodium Palmate
  • Sodium Kernelate
  • Glycerin
  • Palm Kernel Acid
  • Palm Acid
  • Boswellia Extract
  • Musk
  • Sodium Chloride
  • Tetrasodium EDTA

One of the key ingredients is Boswellia Serrata, known for its many medicinal qualities, including anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, acne medication, wrinkle reduction, skin firming, and improvement of skin elasticity. Beyond skincare, it has also been used to treat ailments such as asthma, bowel disease, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Many of the paraben-free soaps found in shops do not contain glycerin. Glycerin is made from plant-based oils and if a soap does not contain glycerin, it is usually a sign that the soap is not all natural. These paraben-free soaps instead contain alcohol or other chemicals that may irritate the skin. Where other soaps may remove too much natural oil from your skin, glycerin locks in your natural moisture to prevent it from drying and cracking. It is also gentle enough to help people who are fighting acne, psoriasis, rosacea, or eczema. The lack of grease also means that people with oily or combination skin benefit from its presence.

As with so many other Heavenly Life ingredients, glycerin is also effective against signs of aging by evening out skin tone and texture, thereby getting rid of surface blemishes and fine lines.

Because this soap is also designed to act as a natural face mask, it can be applied and then washed off after only five minutes for the best results. And, unlike cloth face masks, there is no waste product that needs to be disposed. Simply rinse off and return the natural ingredients to the earth.

“Really impressive product… Felt great results and unbelievable instant skin clarity”

2. Paraben-Free Soaps: Glow of Musk for Light Dry Skin

Paraben Free Soap

Not all ingredients in many skin treatments are harmless, particularly those products that include large amounts of artificial ingredients. Over time, these compounds can cause skin degradation. In fairer skin tones, this can manifest as discoloration or dryness. To combat this and many other conditions, Heavenly Life has created Glow of Musk for Light Dry Skin.

This soap promotes skin unification through the use of all-natural, organic ingredients, in a combination of ancient wisdom and the most modern insights.

One of the key active ingredients is Boswellia Serrata, also known as Indian frankincense. This plant has been prized for many centuries in traditional medicine for its anti-inflammatory qualities, as well as for anti-aging and acne removal treatments. It has also been clinically shown to improve skin elasticity. A further benefit is a visible reduction in wrinkle depth, for firmer skin. As with the other paraben-free soaps in the range, it can also be used as a mask by applying it, leaving it on for five minutes and then rinsing it thoroughly.

One of the best weapons against aging skin is firmness. When skin starts to sag or lose suppleness, wrinkles become more prominent. Glow of Musk for Light Dry Skin encourages an instant skin lift through its collagen skin-tightening attributes.

As an all-rounder, few ingredients beat collagen. It is an excellent treatment for dry and sensitive skin on the one hand, and also for oily and acne-prone skin on the other. Because collagen helps to rebuild damaged skin, it is also an excellent way to help face acne scars.

This paraben-free soap also fights melasma, a common condition among pregnant women that causes dark skin patches, particularly on the forehead and nose. Glow of Musk for Light Dry Skin recovers these patches into the soft layered skin.

To achieve these excellent skin outcomes, the soap is entirely natural and organic. The ingredients include:

  • Boswellia Extract
  • Sodium Palmate
  • Sodium Palm Kernelate
  • Palm Acid
  • Palm Kernel Acid
  • Musk
  • Tetrasodium EDTA
  • Glycerin
  • Sodium Chloride

Of these ingredients, musk is one of the most important. In addition to its many qualities, it also lends a soft fragrance to the skin. Furthermore, it hydrates the skin, kills bacteria, and removes dead skin cells.

Dead skin cells that are not regularly removed can lead to increased skin issues. Every day, your body sheds almost a million dead skin cells. If these cells aren’t removed regularly, they combine with the oils on your body to clog your pores, leading to blackheads and whiteheads. Sometimes, they become inflamed, causing pimples.

Most people know that they should exfoliate regularly to take good care of their skin and minimize the risk of skin conditions. However, many use harsh treatments that leave the skin even worse off. That is because these products disturb the natural balance of the skin. Too much oil and dead skin cells can clog pores, but if you remove all the oils, your body will simply produce a lot more, which will also lead to clogged pores.

Regular washing with Glow of Musk for Light Dry Skin soap brightens up the skin with no drying effects, while maintaining the right oil and pH balance.

3. Paraben-Free Soaps: Renewal of Donkey Milk Soap

Paraben-Free Soap

Heavenly Life takes pride in rediscovering ancient remedies, finding out why the were once so revered, and then taking them into the modern age in combination with other proven ingredients. One such product which has been known throughout the ages for its skincare qualities is donkey milk.

Its use as an anti-aging product was first recognized by queen Cleopatra over 2,000 years ago. She was known to take baths in donkey milk and it clearly worked, as this practice lived on after her death.  After her, several other women who were known throughout antiquity for their youthful beauty continued the practice of taking a milk bath to improve and maintain their skin.

While all people who want to appear more youthful can benefit from donkey milk, people with sensitive skins in particular stand to benefit a lot from this soap. Donkey milk is naturally anti-inflammatory and also contains antibacterial compounds. This helps to reduce and mitigate skin irritation and redness, which is especially important for people who suffer from eczema, acne, rosacea, and psoriasis. Donkey milk also provides a face cleanse to get rid of dead skin cells, making your skin appear fresher and more glowing. It also balances skin color and texture.

The donkey milk is sourced from organic-only donkey farms, where Heavenly Life has ensured that all safety practices have been adhered to. The milk is taken in very small quantities to ensure that no harm is done to the donkeys or their foals.

Those who wish to retain their youthful appearances for as long as possible probably already know that loose and baggy skin is as much a product of age as it is of stress. With the Renewal of Donkey Milk Soap, the firming properties will help to achieve a tighter skin feel after just a few washes. Skin soon appears both smoother and firmer. And the relaxing properties of the soap will also help alleviate any stress you may feel in your life.

The soap is also an excellent choice for those who enjoy the outdoors. This exposure can dry up skin due to weather and pollution exposure. The soap provides essential moisturizing qualities that provide an instant refreshing look and feel.

The donkey milk, in conjunction with the other active ingredients, provides protection against many skin issues that include psoriasis, eczema, sunburn, and acne.

My face felt wonderful and soft, and moist – so did my fingers and hands.

4. Paraben-Free Soaps: Revival of Snail Serum Soap

Paraben-Free Soap

The use of snail serum might sound like a recent laboratory discovery, but the truth is that this beauty secret was first used in ancient Greece around 400 BC. The ancient Greeks found that applying snail serum to their skins produced a luminous glow.

The Father of Medicine, Hippocrates, was the first to formulate recipes using snail products and it is clear why. Although he didn’t know it, snail serum contains many natural nutrients, including antimicrobial substances, glycoprotein, proteoglycans, and hyaluronic acid.

Hyaluronic acid is one of nature’s miracle compounds. It makes your skin look and feel more supple, while also reducing wrinkles, dermatitis, and redness. It even speeds up wound healing. And, while half of the hyaluronic acid in your body is on your skin, it still may not be enough. There are many factors that can diminish your supply of hyaluronic acid, including sunlight, pollution, and smoke. Your body also starts to produce less and less hyaluronic acid as you age, which is why our soap is designed to give your body a boost.

Heavenly Life uses his ancient knowledge in the production of the Revival of Snail Serum soap. In fact, it is the only skin product company that incorporates the ingredient in its organic paraben-free soaps. Although snail serum may sound strange to those who have not yet used it, Heavenly Life passes the serum through a range of purification processes to give it a light, fragrant quality.

Snail serum also offers many advantages beyond a bright appearance. It repairs damaged skin, regenerates skin cells, and tightens skin. It stimulates the formation of collagen and elastin. It also protects the skin from free radicals and dehydration. These qualities mean that it can be used to treat dry skin, wrinkles, stretch marks, acne, and rosacea. The healing properties of snail serum will help relax damaged and wounded skin and helps it to appear healthy again.

Another advantage of Revival of Snail Serum soap is that it works well on all skin types and textures. Most skincare experts agree that when it comes to addressing aging, prevention is better than cure. However, our daily routine means that pollution and toxins can build up on the skin over time, which could have long-term adverse effects. The soap was therefore designed to prevent the visible effects of aging, by providing a full daily cleanse, balancing of the skin texture, and softening the skin. It can also be left on the skin for five minutes as a face mask and then rinsed off as normal.

As with all its products, Heavenly Life ensures that every ingredient in the soap comes from organic sources only, are manufactured cruelty free, and are manufactured without the use of synthetic fertilizers, GMOs, herbicides, and pesticides. This approach makes it almost completely free of allergens, which can often irritate sensitive skins.

The soap is also rich in antioxidants, which exfoliate and cleanse the skin. Antioxidants inhibit oxidation, the process that produces free radicals or chain reactions that harm cells. Antioxidants are therefore one of the most valued products to arrest the onset of aging.

In addition, the soap also contains many other natural ingredients that benefit all skin types in both the short and the long term, such as allantoin. This chemical is found in plants such as sugar beets, chamomile, and wheat sprouts. It is included for its healing and moisturizing properties. It also removes excess skin through its keratolytic characteristics, which also assist in healing skin wounds such as rashes and skin irritations. It further assists in collagen formation, which keeps skin firm and tight.

This soap is great! It lasts a very long time. Plus, I like how soft it makes my skin. It cleans well and doesn’t dry my face at all.

The Story Behind Our Brand and Our Paraben-Free Soaps

Since the 1920s, many manufacturers in different industries have used parabens for their ability to keep products clean and well preserved. Today, you can find parabens in moisturizers, ointments, suntan lotions, toothpaste, make-up, shampoos, shaving gels, and even food.

Parabens are synthetic chemicals, also known as preservatives, and are added to products to give them a longer shelf life, because they prevent the growth of fungi and other microorganisms.

Parabens were originally thought to be completely safe, as they occur naturally in fruits and vegetables, such as blueberries. However, all parabens that are used commercially are produced synthetically. Now, experts are discovering that these synthetic parabens may not only have negative effects on your skin and body, but also for the environment, where it builds up in our wastewater.

It is for this reason that Heavenly Life has decided to create a range of paraben-free soaps to protect our clients’ skins, hair, and bodies to the fullest. We also created these paraben-free soaps to be completely organic, with the ability to double as a face mask while in the shower.

Heavenly Life is a beauty company with the vision of providing only the highest quality products to our clients using the wisdom and understanding of beauty that has been built up throughout the entire course of human history. We therefore combine ancient wisdom with the latest knowledge to produce products that take care of our clients’ hair and skin, without doing any harm to nature.

The practice of bathing is almost as old as human civilization itself. The first recorded mention of bathing is in the Indian Grihya-Sutra, which were written from 400 BC. Even then, it was acknowledged that one needs a daily ritual to get rid of things that build up on our skins if we want to lead healthy lives.

Throughout history people experimented with every ingredient under the sun to find the ones that best cleanse our skins and those that offer other health benefits as well. Unfortunately, some of that ancient wisdom has been lost to modern society and replaced with products of mass manufacture.

Heavenly Life returns to this ancient wisdom, while not disregarding modern wisdom, to create a range of cleansing products that offer a holistic approach to health and youthfulness.

In addition to our range of paraben-free soaps, we also manufacture serums, night creams, undereye and face masks, facewashes, shampoos, and shower gels that follow the same commitment to only use completely natural ingredients.

Because of all the knowledge we have built up at Heavenly Life about which products can do no harm to skin, hair, or nature, we see it as our duty to also communicate this information to our clients, allowing them to make decisions in the best interest of themselves, and the planet. It is for this reason that we feel it is important to be clear why we have taken the bold step to ensure that there are no parabens in our entire range.

The Dangers of Parabens

There are many different dangers associated with paraben exposure and the first happens immediately upon exposure. Parabens have been popular as a preservative because most people can have skin contact with parabens in soaps and shampoos with very little side-effects. However, some with sensitive skins may develop irritations when they are exposed to parabens.

Those who develop skin problems as a direct result of paraben exposure usually have difficult decisions to make. Other cleansing products with other active ingredients instead of paraben even harsher to the skin, and when they are not, they tend to be ineffectual at cleaning skin to any great degree. The best course of action would therefore be to switch to an all-natural treatment that provides excellent cleansing abilities, while also nourishing the skin and hair, such as the range developed by Heavenly Life.

Even more concerning than a possible skin irritation is increasing medical evidence that suggests that parabens have negative effects on both the male and the female the reproductive systems. Studies where parabens were detected in the urine found that higher levels of parabens in males could be linked to decreased sperm counts. In women, these symptoms were even more concerning, where links were found between higher paraben levels and decreased fertility levels and shorter menstrual cycles. Shorter menstrual cycles could increase the risk and frequency of retrograde bleeding, which in turn could increase the chances of contracting endometriosis. There are therefore several reasons to avoid parabens, particularly when you are trying to conceive.

Another study found that higher levels of parabens had links with pre-term births and reduced birth weight. Even after birth, high paraben exposure during pregnancy has been linked to the children born from the pregnancy developing anxiety and behavioral issues.

The reason why paraben seems able to play havoc with the reproductive system is that the chemical structure of parabens is slightly similar to the female reproductive hormone, estrogen. When the estrogen levels in the body are disrupted, it may adversely affect the reproductive systems in both men and women.

Because parabens are easily absorbed by the skin, but not so easily metabolized by the body, it can build up over time in your tissues, where there are many problems it may cause. There have been indications that parabens may cause or accelerate certain types of cancers, particularly breast cancer, as parabens have been found in cancerous human tissue. This is again linked to estrogen disruption, as increased estrogen activity has been linked to an increased risk of breast cancer. Another study showed a possible link between parabens and malignant melanoma, the most dangerous type of skin cancer.

One of the greatest concerns with parabens is the damage they can do to the environment. As they are ingredients in so many soaps and shampoos, most people wash parabens off their bodies every day when they take a shower or bath. Worse, parabens have been shown to react with the chlorine in our water, causing several degradation products that may be just as harmful as the parabens themselves. From the shower or bath, the parabens and their byproducts go down the drain and into our wastewater.

Because wastewater plants do not typically treat for parabens, they may well end up in our rivers and oceans.

Lab tests have found that even low levels of parabens can kill coral, which is a problem, as many sunscreens contain parabens. Because parabens prohibit the growth of fungi and other small organisms, they have a negative effect on the symbiotic algae that live on coral reefs and are vital to the survival of the coral.

Parabens have also been found in the tissues of marine mammals such as sea otters, dolphins, and polar bears, where they can also disrupt estrogen levels. They have also been recorded in marine fish. Scientists have found that the paraben levels in the oceans and in these animals have been steadily increasing over the years. It is therefore vitally important that we reverse this trend.

But it is not only marine animals that are at risk. Above water, it has also been found that parabens do not break down as effectively as hoped, which means that both parabens and their degradation products can accumulate in nature. Here, they have been proven to be toxic to some animals, particularly small, single-celled organisms that are vital to the ecosystem. The same antibacterial qualities from parabens that keep your cream from becoming moldy now pose a danger to small animals that don’t live in your cream, but are vital to entire ecosystems.

Given these effects, it makes sense why many people have decided to eliminate parabens as much as possible from the products they use. The health departments of most countries consider parabens safe for use by humans, and usually give guidelines for how many parabens a product can contain. The problem is that this method doesn’t keep in mind that one person can get parabens from many different sources. The dangers that of all these parabens combined pose to humans and nature is multiplied as a result. It is therefore important to keep track of parabens in products and to eliminate them as far as possible.

When looking to see whether a product contains parabens, it is important to remember that there are many parabens used in the creation of cosmetic products. The most regularly used parabens to look out for on ingredients labels are:

  • Methylparaben
  • Isopropylparaben
  • Butylparaben
  • Isobutylparaben
  • Propylparaben
  • Ethylparaben
  • Benzylparaben
  • Phenylparaben
  • Pentylparaben

When you decide to start a paraben-free lifestyle, it is important to dispose of products in your cupboard containing these ingredients in an environmentally friendly way, to ensure that they don’t end up in the environment. Products in your house that you can check for parabens include:

  • Sunscreen
  • Makeup
  • Eye Cream
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Hair Serum
  • Face Moisturizer
  • Face Cleanser
  • Face Serum
  • Toothpaste
  • Body Lotion
  • Deodorant
  • Shaving Cream

Some countries have banned the use of some parabens in products, with more legislation in the pipeline to remove parabens from our lives. However, this may take some time, so at the moment, it is still up to individuals to ensure that they remove parabens from their lives. And in doing so, it is important to choose the products that have been leading the way in terms of removing parabens in a natural way, instead of simply trying to be compliant with legislation.

The Future of Paraben-Free Soaps

When we consider all the benefits of a regular bathing routine, it is not surprising that civilizations from every corner of the earth have practiced this ritual for time immemorial. But some of the most important aspects of cleansing have been lost. In the past, it was a time of relaxing, a time to return to nature, either through the use of natural, soothing ingredients, or by sitting in a pool or natural spa.

This method of relaxation brought a restorative aspect to the simple act of cleansing, which is why it has inspired painters to capture scenes of bathing throughout the ages. This is a far cry from the modern approach, where we often simply approach a bath or a shower as something that we need to get over and done with every day.

Heavenly Life’s products honor this return to nature through the use of all-natural ingredients that were chosen to soothe and relax. When you use Heavenly Life products, you become one with ancient wisdom and the ancient knowledge of the power of a healthy cleansing routine.

Many soaps today are designed to create a lather and not much more. The lather looks like its working, but often these synthetic soaps can do more harm than good, particularly to those who have sensitive skins or other conditions. There is no longer a need to see soap as just a means to remove some dirt. The right soap can be in the front line with you in the search for better health, as well as to combat the effects of aging.

What’s more, your choice of soap can do even more. By choosing a paraben-free soaps, you are helping the environment every time you take a bath or shower. This peace of mind will only add to the relaxing sensation of a healthy routine.

When you decide to go the paraben-free soaps route, it is important to have as much knowledge as possible at your disposal. Many manufacturers have publicly claimed to have rid their products of parabens in order to appear more environmentally conscious, but simply replaced the parabens with other preservatives.

This practice is known as greenwashing, where companies make false claims about how environmentally conscious they are. They usually make exaggerated claims about how their products are good for the environment, but the reality is that it is all about the bottom line. It is important to support products from companies that have a track record of caring for people and the planet, and not just pay lip service to our precious environment.

The best route is of course to use products that contain natural ingredients, to ensure that if any part of it is returned to nature, it can easily be absorbed, without causing any harm.

These other ingredients that are often used to replace paraben, but that present dangers of their own towards your skin, hair, and the environment, include triclosan, phthalates, sulfates, phenoxyethanol, and formaldehyde. Check for these ingredients and avoid them like you would avoid paraben. In the end, only use those products that are made from natural ingredients.

By removing harmful compounds from your beauty regime, you can preserve your natural beauty and the planet – a win for everyone. With Heavenly Life, you can rest assured that you are not only getting a product that is completely natural, but also one that really works.
